The Woodlands set to pop with "uncorking" for Avia Hotel
Boutique hotel breaks ground at Trademark Property's Market Street The Woodlands
FORT WORTH, Texas, September 9, 2008 - Market Street The Woodlands, a 560,000 sf mixed-use destination town center combining retail and office space just north of Houston, will soon welcome boutique hotel AVIA The Woodlands.
Today's "uncorking" ceremony marks the start of construction on the 70-room hotel from Kansas-based LodgeWorks, L.P. AVIA The Woodlands is part of the AVIA collection of boutique hotels located in select destination cities in the U.S. Each AVIA hotel combines AVIA signature services with design elements and amenities unique to that destination and locale.
At Market Street, AVIA in-room amenities include lush beds, spacious baths with walk-in showers and soaking tubs, a gourmet refreshment bar featuring Dean and Deluca ® items, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Signature services for AVIA guests include a wine bar, tasting kitchen, and outdoor living space with seating nooks and cabanas. With the opening of AVIA The Woodlands, scheduled for Fall of 2009, Trademark will also add an additional 24,000 sf of new retail space at ground level.
